JUNE...

So as the month of June 2006 passes into the past... Do I have something to write down... It will go down the memory lane as the month of the Soccer world cup... Many fought till the quarter finals... Many unreasonably couldn't qualify with the talent at hand... Y would I ever have to write it down!!! Afterall u can go thru numerous articles that have already come up and will be coming out in due course of time...

Yeah so after the Mundakayam trip it was almost a very sedate life... and I ignited it with regular visits to the gym!!! And well when I ignited it something had to burst and so it did... Another burst and I was thrown out again into the waiting hands of dear COIMBATORE... a few of my friends now have a gossip column... Haa anginne engillum enne kurrichu orru katha ondaayello!!! Yeah I believe I have my fiancee there... If it was the case I should still be enjoying my time there... Anyways this time around things where more happening and with the FOOTBall being aired during the eve life was pretty easy, and I had the responsibility to satisfy a few customers who had a few of our customer care centres back in Kerala almost ransacked!!!

That was almost it... but life sometime is too crazy. It was almost decided to get going for some MBA course next accademic year and it took only a few minutes to decide something else, that I am going to continue with these semi techi stuffs and blah blah... being in a Govt. owned PSU decision making becomes a bit tough, given the circumstances that u r already staying at home, at peace with everyone except ur own ego and self!!!

And the most important thing other than this was that... The long awaited trip to Delhi has been finalised only polishing up a few sides is all that is left. I am going for a long tour... Delhi, Kullu-Manalli, Rothang Pass, Mcleodganj, Amritsar, Agra, Rishikesh, Musourie... etc

Delhi... Of all the metros in our country thats the only place where I haven't set my foot stpes on.... Maybe 3rd August 2006 is gonna rewrite the history!!! When the raajadhani from Tvm reaches there... better watchout. And the photo that comes with this blog is just a dress rehearsal... eeshawaraaa inni enthellam kaanendivarrummo entho!!!!!!!

Mundakayam... Kuttikanam & Moncy's Engagement!!!

Let me start of from where I left behind... Thats how I looked after "TWO" weeks at Coimbatore... To put in simple words "All screwed up"... For those people who still have sweet memories of Coimbatore that was only becz either they stayed for 2-3 days only or it was becz they had their family for support... For me Cmbt is all abt Idly, Vada, Dosa... Sambar and Chutney.... Surely u can think beyond it at the cost of a very heavy bill and a very very "LOOSE" stomach...

So lets come back to something interesting after all those nonsense related with our IN at Coimbatore.... Life cant always give u sweet memories. Anyways lets savour what I could...

So as per earlier plans my juniors... If u ppl ask me how I got related to them in the 1st place... from college and now my close friends, turned up at Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday the 3rd of June 2006... They had a lot of ppl to see & visit... and am not going deep into all those things, except that we had a lunch together with many of their classmates on that Sunday at Tvm...

After the lunch we '4'... myself, Pk, Arun Sen & Pralin ventured out for a long journey to Mundakayam along the western ghats... rubber estates... paddy fields... and well the uncertainities of the MC road which is now under "EXPANSION" program and more than any of it the facinating imaginations of the driver and later the drivers themselves... Most of u would have already heard of stuffs like 'the hunter becoming the hunted...' And yeah more than anything else the Monsoon which helped laminate my dear car with layers of MUD... now I would complain just cause I washed him up thoroughly painstakingly!!! Anyways... Let me introduce u to my friends.

So then this on the left side I present to u... Mr PK, dont know how he manages to land planes at the Airport!!! With his immaculate efficiency in finding out roundabout ways... or in other words the wrong turns/junctions... God is great and his creations marvelous....

This is Pralin... Dont have much to tell u all abt him... Not that the English dictionary is not efficient enuff... but his day aswell will come... Someday when he manages to win the heart of his dream beauty or whatever... Let me give him time.

This is Arun Sen the great... I wont dwel into the details of his greatness... Anyways a nice chap good at heart and what not... The Krishna of arnd 40 ladies working with him at... Athu vendaa bhaaki ullavarr asooya moothallo... Hey if any lady amongst them reads this just 'understand' that he aswell has a very soft heart which beats for many amongst u.... He is confused as to what to do...

Now is it necessary to introduce this fellaaa...!!! He should be real familiar now... If I start naa dictionaries & web pages would be tested for its vocab and capacities.... Thats Binush. Just joking guys, its better that somone else writes abt me...

And this is Benson and Moncy...

So after the introduction and stuffs... Lets get back to some cake, halwa, chakka varruthethu and tea... Already talking abt which I am starting to feel hungry not becz I wasn't fed enuff but becz of what came next... Dinner at Moncy's place was realy grand... Kappa, irrachi (ollathiyathu & curry), then chorru & meen curry... Just enuff dishes to keep u going on and on... The taste is still on my tougue and my mouth watering just on the thought of it... And what to talk abt the morning breakfast of Appam, bread & irrachi... later lunch consisting of appam, rice, fish curry, chicken fry and mutton stew... I am just quoting the highlights!!!

So other than eating and driking... Early in the morning of 5th June we went to Kuttikanam hi-range, amongst tea estates, water falls, mountain landscapes... we had a short drive amongst all this...

I am cutting it short with this much... There are always things that cant be captured on the cameras nor writen down...

May 6th...

Here goes another of my sagas... In search of perfection!!! My trips will continue but this is one from the past... To be right on the spot... "ONE MONTH BACK".
This is when we all assembled at Thrissur SNDP hall for yet another marriage function... This time it was Dileep's one of my JTO friends... The photo on the side has Achayan, Deepak, Deepu (ex JTO), Swami, Jhonson & Sandeep...

Thats Dileep & his wife Nikhila...

So yes after having a grand sadhya we had a day to spend at Thrissur and when somebody like Sandeep gives his car's key to u... u better find a place to go to... And well where other than Neliampathy... Everything was planned in under 5 minutes and those who could be accomodated into a Wagon-R... ie 5 of us set along!!!
After around 2.5 hrs of drive from Thrissur, 1st thru the dense NH-47 & later thru villages and then curves and "THIN" roads which had many ups and downs... The forest and its music was just amazing and we did have an almost perfect climate to go thru... It almost felt as if the destination was getting ready for ME...

By the time we reached up it was almost evening and v had some deadlines to meet... So without wasting time we rented a 4 wheel drive jeep to carry us to what is referred to as MAMPARA... A must visit place just becz of the route that u have to go thru wih the jep almost tilting to the side and stuffs.... If u can call it a road then u r a real optimist... And jeeps specialy modified for this purpose only can get u to the intended location....

The view we had from atop the hills was just great... And it was another grandstand finish... Earlier during 1998 we had been there to Neliampathy from college... But hadn't heard nor gone to Mampara...
